a Brazilian-American storyteller and photographer based in Rio de Janeiro. I'm a newspaper journalist-turned-blogger passionate about discovering (and reflecting upon) the world around me.

I started this blog after a yearlong backpacking trip where I visited 22 countries across three continents — a trip that showed me the transformative power of travel.
